Biography

Geraldine is a Graduate of University College Dublin and qualified as a solicitor in 1982. Since then she has worked predominantly in the area of Litigation, specialising in Clinical Negligence, Family Law, Defence Litigation and Abuse Claims. She is a trained collaborative law practitioner and was vice-chairperson and a member of the Adoption Board from 1992 to 1997.

Geraldine is a founding member of the South Dublin Collaborative Lawyers Group and is also a member of the ACP and Medico Legal Society of Ireland.

Geraldine and Fiona Brassil were awarded the Family Law Team of the year in the Irish Law Awards 2012.
